i-Report quality reporting without IT effort
Creating reports from quality information is often time-consuming due to manual data preparation. i-Report is a reporting software for production that converts, collects, reads and automatically outputs measurement results from 3D coordinate measuring machines and many other devices, enabling efficient and reliable quality reporting. The reporting tool generates customised Excel reports containing the quality data, statistics, graphics and charts you need.
Quality reporting within a company systematically collects, analyses and presents quality data and statistics in real time, in order to provide information on the quality of processes and products and to highlight areas requiring corrective action. The reports show the current status, highlight deviations and thus enable data-driven decision-making.
Because i-Report operates with its own database, it can be installed and run directly on the measuring PC without requiring a server environment. The setup is straightforward and does not depend on assistance from an IT administrator.
Database filters and various output options
i-Report delivers extensive search and filtering tools that support focused production reporting. By filtering datasets in the database – for instance via date and time – users can access exactly the information they require. During Excel generation, flexible settings allow adaptation of the report to operational or customer requirements.
Settings such as decimal control, absolute value conversion, OK/NOK display, deviation reporting and optional outputs are individually adjustable. This eliminates the need to edit or re-enter information when producing the final report.
The quality data reporting reads the data directly from central databases like MySQL or MS SQL, embeds it into predefined templates and makes it available immediately. Available graphics include value charts and Cp/Cpk outputs.
Plug-in database interface
In addition to the i-Report server version, which can be used as an integrated database with various applications, you can also use the i-Report standalone solution, which can be used independently with its own database. The i-Report standalone reporting tool is equipped with an interface for 3D coordinate measuring machines, allowing you to convert and capture data simultaneously via a plugin. This means you can benefit from targeted quality reporting without having to use the entire iNDEQS software suite.
